Super 78's BRENT YOUNG Principal / Director / Visual Effects Supervisor
Brent Young is an award wining director, visual effects supervisor, and editor. He is a member of the Visual Effects Society, Producers Guild of America, and the TEA (Themed Entertainment Association).

For over ten years, Mr. Young has directed hundreds of commercials, video game cinematics, multi-screen films, live action promos, award shows and theatrical experiences. Universal Creative, ESPN, Electronic Arts, SeaWorld, Cartoon Network, Busch Gardens, Disney, American Greetings, Nickelodeon, and Discovery Networks are some companies he has collaborated with as creative director and project visionary.
The films are not always straightforward films or broadcast media. Mr. Young directed a 270º animated film, for the Western Center museum in California. He served as media director for SeaWorld’s all new Shamu show, Believe, ultimately earning the highest THEA award for Best Live Show. The previous year he served as visual effects supervisor for Busch Gardens’ newest 3D/4D dark ride attraction Curse of Darkastle, earning a nomination from the Visual Effects Society and another THEA for The Best Attraction of the Year.
As animation and visual effects and animation supervisor for Cartoon Network’s Ben 10: Race Against Time, Brent is nominated for two VES awards The network is still celebrating the 11 rating it received over the 2007 Thanksgiving weekend, the highest rating in the history of the network.
Mr. Young developed and directed a 14-minute High Definition animated attraction for the Audubon Nature Institute starring the voices of Jay Leno, Joan Rivers, and Brad Garrett. The attraction is set to open in the Spring of 2008.
Mr. Young’s is currently directing animation for 2007 New Years Eve: No Limits live event hosted by ESPN, Red Bull, and the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas.

Doug began the Season Pass in 2007. He is a Life Long Fan of Theme Parks and Roller Coasters as well as a fan of Podcasting. Doug has spent his entire life living and meandering under the California sky;regularly attending many parks including Disneyland, DCA, Universal Studios Hollywood, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (AKA-Marine World), California's Great America (AKA-PGA), and more.
Doug began his interest of News and Rumors in the Amusement Industry in 1998when he began posting reports and reviews at Thrillride.com under the name NorCalDoug. During this time he toured other states (Ohio, Texas, etc.) to enjoy some Themed Recreation outside of California.

Nick Hutson - Guest
Nick Hutson created MusicalTalk with his friend and co-presenter Andy Edwards in
September 2006. He has had the pleasure of meeting with and interviewing such luminaries
as Alan Menken, Stephen Schwartz, Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, Stephanie J Block,
Gerard Alessandrini, William David Brohn, George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.
A pianist and composer, Nick holds a degree in composition from the University of
Hertfordshire and has recently completed a masters in Musical Theatre writing at
Goldsmiths College, University of London.
Writing credits include: CoasterBoy: The Musical(book, music and lyrics) and, with
Dominic Lindesay-Bethune, he has written music (and co-written lyrics) for: The House on
Penbrook Way, Far Away Academyand Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids and his own musical
adaptation of Just William (Book, Music and Lyrics). As an orchestrator, he orchestrated
Rubbish: The Musical and as a sound designer, he created soundscapes for Final Play,
which played at the Tabard Theatre in London. Film scoring includes The Helpless
Survivor. (written and produced by Dominic Lindesay-Bethune).
Nick plays piano in various restaurants and at private functions. He also enjoys
travelling, theme parks and films.
